Yogaraj Bhat’s upcoming venture ‘Garadi’, starring Yashas Surya and Rachita Ram in the lead, has reportedly taken off already. The director, as per the latest online reports, was spotted at a Garadi mane, or a traditional Indian gymnasium, in Mysuru along with stunt director Kourava Venkatesh for the purpose of research and ideation for the film.
‘Garadi’, the film, is set in entirely in North Karnataka and will be shot in historical places such as Badami and Aihole. Former cop and actor B.C. Patil produces the film with V. Harikrishna composing the score and Challenging Star Darshan, who launched the film recently, is playing a special role in the film.
Yashas Surya stars in the film as the male lead whereas Rachita Ram, one of the current leading actresses in the industry, plays the female lead. The actress was brought on board very recently with an official announcement made via social media. Yashas Surya had recently revealed that the film will see him a massy look for which he is undergoing an image makeover.
The same online reports also suggest that the shooting of ‘Garadi’ could take off with action sequences as director Yogaraj Bhat was seen having intense discussions with his action director Kourava Venkatesh. Bhat, who is mostly known for his romance and humour in movies, could well be making an “action-oriented” film this time around in the form of ‘Garadi’.
On the other hand, Yogaraj Bhat’s much-awaited ‘Gaalipata 2’ is in the offing as all the fans keenly look forward to the release date announcement. The sequel film reunites Yogaraj Bhat with his usual suspects like Golden Star Ganesh, Diganth Manchale, Pawan Kumar, and Anant Nag – it also stars Sharmiela Mandre, Vaibhavi Shandliya, Samyuktha Menon among others.
