As the Indian audience slowly warms up to the upcoming big movie season, the makers of ‘Vikrant Rona’ are here with an update to make things only better. Among the many giants that are slated to release in the coming few months, namely ‘RRR’, ‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’, and others, Anup Bhandari’s fantasy horror flick rates somewhere at the top with many deeming it to be a new benchmark for Indian cinema with respect to visual effects and imagination. The team, now, is all set to announce the all-important release date on the 7th of December at 11:05 am exactly.
“Vikrant Rona will report to duty on?” wrote director Anup Bhandari in his tweet before stating that December 7th is set to be an important day for all the many million Kiccha Sudeep fans. Sudeep too shared the special poster via social media sometime yesterday.
With S.S. Rajamouli’s epic ‘R.R.R’ making its way out as a pan-Indian release on January 7th, 2022 and ‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’ releasing on April 14th of the year, along with Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chadda’, one can expect the team of ‘Vikrant Rona’ to steer clear from any significant box office clashes. The film is arguably the biggest venture in Kiccha Sudeep’s career in terms of budget, scale, and release and the team has evidently left nothing to chance in rendering a film of grand proportions.
‘Vikrant Rona’ has been written and directed by Anup Bhandari and stars Sudeep, Neetha Ashok, Nirup Bhandari, and Jacqueline Fernandez (in a special role). Jack Manjunath and Shalini Manjunath have bankrolled the film while B. Ajaneesh Loknath has composed the music and BGM, with William David handling cinematography. Shiva Kumar J is the production designer.
