Makers of Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen starrer ‘19(1)(a)’ have launched the much-awaited first look poster of the film. Featuring the lead actors Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen, the poster looks intense, with Nithya’s face lit up as a regular photo, and Vijay’s a monochrome.

‘19(1)(a)’ marks Vijay Sethupathi’s second Malayalam film, and the actor too is excited about the upcoming film. “Here is the first look poster of 19(1)(a) malayalam directed by debutant @indhusss,” Vijay Sethupathi captioned, sharing the poster.
Article 19 (1) of the Constitution of India, provides 6 fundamental rights in the nature of freedom and the sub-clause (a),i.e., Article 19(1)(a) guarantees “Freedom of speech and expression”.
In an interview, debutant director Indhu VS shared that the film revolves around Nithya’s character while Sethupathi, Indrajith and Indrans will be seen in pivotal roles in the movie. Nithya Menen is all excited about the film, and talking to us earlier, she divulged, “The story was narrated to me years ago and it’s been in my mind ever since. What I love about the film is that there are things in it that I had never done before. The character, the pace of the movie, certain scenes and shots in the film – all of which I have never done in my career.” Vijay Sethupathi plays a writer in the film. “Sethupathi plays a writer who is born in Tamil Nadu and lives in Kerala. So such a character has a unique sensibility in how he sees and deals with things. While working with him, I found that’s an inherent trait of Sethupathi. So, for him it wasn’t that difficult a task to essay the role,” the director earlier told in an interview.
