Veteran Actor Sameer Khakhar, Known For Playing Khopdi In Nukkad Dies

Veteran actor Sameer Khakhar, recognized for his roles in TV indicates which includes Nukkad, died on Wednesday; his brother Ganesh Khakhar confirmed the information. Sameer Khakhar died at MM Hospital in Mumbai’s Borivali, where he was admitted, added the record. Sameer’s funeral will reportedly be held Wednesday morning at Babhai naka crematorium, Borivali.

Taking to Twitter, filmmaker Hansal Mehta shared photographs of Sameer and paid his tribute. He wrote, “For some reason, I nicknamed him Khopdi in university after his iconic individual in Nukkad. My closest pals from the time still name me Khopdi. But I bet it’s time to say goodbye to the OG. Goodbye Sameer Khakhar. Thank you for the memories.”
