Tamil actor Suriya’s T Nagar residence has been given police protection, after the Jai Bhim row. Suriya’s latest release ‘Jai Bhim’ has landed him in trouble after a group of people accused the star regarding a few scenes which accused a certain community.
Suriya has been receiving continuous warnings from a certain group of people, and the actor is asked to apologize for the mistake. But Suriya stood straight and refused to do so as it is the filmmakers’ freedom to say the message they need to convey through their movies.
So, due to continuous threats against Suriya, the police officials have given protection for Suriya’s T Nagar house, and five armed policemen have been deployed for the security check outside his house.
Meanwhile, several celebrities and fans have been showing their support to Suriya on social media, with the hashtag #WeStandwithSuriya trending regularly on Twitter.
On the work front, Suriya’s ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ shooting has been wrapped up, and fans are eager to hear about the release date of the Pandiraj directorial.
