Their relationship has been the talk of the town ever since Sonalee and Kunal Benodekar announced their marriage early this year. The couple has been in a relationship for four years now and in a previous interview with us, Sonalee has said how the two are complete travel aficionados.
Reiterating the same, Sonalee says, “We both love travelling and have a pact that every year we spend his birthday, August 4, in a new country. In the first year of our relationship, we travelled to Portugal, then to Mauritius the following year. Last year we didn’t travel due to the pandemic, but I was in Dubai so technically, it’s a new country to spend the day in.”
And the plan for this year? “Well this year I am surprising Kunal with a trip to Maldives. He doesn’t know the destination,” says Sonalee. The two have left for Maldives today (Aug 2). Sonalee adds, “This is Kunal’s first birthday post our marriage and that makes this trip doubly exciting.”
