After ‘Indian 2’ being put on hold, director Shankar has decided to move ahead and has join hands with Ram Charan for a Pan Indian drama. The mega-budget film starts rolling with a muhurat pooja today in the presence of Ranveer Singh, Chiranjeevi, and SS Rajamouli as chief guests. Shankar and Ram Charan’s ‘RC 15’ will get a powerful title. The makers are reportedly considering ‘Viswambhara’ as the film title, and it means ‘Earth’, where Ram Charan will be seen as a fiery young man who supports the universe.
Yesterday, director Shankar had a preliminary photoshoot with Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in Hyderabad, and the first look poster is expected to be launched with the title since a series of the festival season ahead. Sunil, Naveen Chandra, Anjali, and Jayaram will be seen in supporting roles, while the cinematography and music are to be done by Thiru and Thaman respectively. ‘RC 15’ is planned to be shot mostly at a film city in Hyderabad, and the makers are building a grand set.
Shankar is also announced to do the ‘Anniyan’ Hindi remake with Ranveer Singh, and he will direct the film next. Meanwhile, the issues regarding ‘Indian 2’ are expected to be sorted out, and the director will complete the remaining portions in between.
