Ranveer Singh is the latest celebrity to be bowled over by Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2. In a recent interview, the actor couldn’t stop praising commercial films such as KGF, RRR and Magadheera. He also confessed his love for commercial cinema and called it ‘his first love.’ KGF: Chapter 2, directed by Prashanth Neel, is dominating the box office in India.
Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 released in theatres on April 14 in five languages. The film collected a whopping Rs 1150 crore in 25 days and is still going strong at the box office.
Ranveer Singh recently watched KGF: Chapter 2 and went gaga about it. In an interview with Film Companion, the Jayeshbhai Jordaar actor clapped for Yash and said, “When I watched KGF: Chapter 2, I was like wow.
Rocking Star Yash..woohoo. Throughout the movie, I was like, ‘Kill him Yash, kill him.’ I loved that kind of cinema. It’s my first love. Whether it’s Magadheera or KGF, I watch such films at night alone in bed and end up clapping. In spite of not watching with an audience, I am still hooting and cheering. Such is my love for that kind of cinema.”
KGF: Chapter 2 is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. The film has been shattering box office records ever since it hit the theatres on April 14. KGF: Chapter 2 features Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty in lead roles.
