‘Pushpa: The Rise’ Box Office Collection Day 5

Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa: The Rise is maintaining its winning streak at the box office. The film that released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi, turned out to be a major crowd puller. It was the fifth day of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa: The Rise and the film held its pace at the box office. During the success party of the film on Tuesday, December 21, Allu Arjun addressed the audience and thanked them for the overwhelming response.

Pushpa: The Rise released on December 17. Within a few days of its release, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s film is paying off well. After collecting Rs 140.7 crore at the worldwide box office and finding a place for itself in the global box office Top 3 list, Pushpa: The Rise is retaining its winning streak and pulling the audience to the theatre. According to film exhibitor Akshaye Rathi, Pushpa: The Rise ‘is running to housefull shows’.

“And the Tuesday numbers are as steady as Monday’s! @PushpaMovie is running to housefull shows at hundreds of single screen cinemas across north India even today! Haven’t seen this sort of a hold in very long! Every @alluarjun film in the future is poised for a pan India release (sic),” he wrote.

On the other hand, Kaushik LM, who is a Box Office stats tracker, revealed that the film is an official hit in Tamil Nadu. “#Pushpa is now officially a HIT in TN. In just 4 days, the breakeven share mark has been crossed. The first major market in the world for #PushpaTheRise to emerge viable for its buyer – #TamilNadu. The stage is set for #PushpaTheRule to soar even higher here! @alluarjun (sic),” he tweeted.

On Tuesday, December 21, Allu Arjun attended the success party of Pushpa: The Rise and thanked the audience for their love and support. “I’d like to thank audience from all over from Tamil, from Karnataka from Kerela and all over the North- everybody has been receiving the film fantastically well. I’d like to thank each and everybody for showering so much love on Telugu cinema, on Pushpa and coming back to the theatres. And I am so happy Indian cinema is shining again. Jai Hind. Thank you,” said the actor.

Pushpa: The Rise follows the story of Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood smuggler, who becomes the king of the smuggling business. The film, which has a runtime of three hours, has been receiving mixed reviews. So, the makers have decided to trim the film by a few minutes. According to reports, Sukumar has removed a romantic scene featuring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna.

Pushpa: The Rise stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles. The second part, Pushpa: The Rule, will release sometime in 2022.
