Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara’supcoming film, Gold, is perhaps the most expected film of 2022. The first-look banner of Gold was revealed on June 6 and met with positive reactions from the crowds. The action comedy is composed, edited and directed by Alphonse Putharen of Premam popularity. As per reports, Gold will deliver in theatres on August 19, 2022.
Taking to Twitter on June 6, Prithviraj Sukumaran shared the first-look poster of Gold. He wrote, “#GOLD An #AlphonsPuthran Film! @puthrenalphonse @PrithvirajProd @magicframes2011 (sic).”

Gold is an activity parody delivered by Supriya Menon and Listin Stephen. While Prithviraj and Nayanthara play lead jobs, Ajmal Ameer, Shabareesh Varma, Krishna Sankar and Chemban Vinod Jose assume supporting parts. The film marks Alphonse Puthren’s return to direction after six years.
