Actor Mohan Babu penned an open letter for the members of the MAA association ahead of elections.
The actor urged everyone to vote for his son, Vishnu Manchu, in the elections that are to be held in two days. He wrote, “I am one among you all – I am an artiste, actor, director and producer. I am also an ardent follower of the late Dasari Narayana Rao garu, I’m like his son. It is often said that we must talk about ourselves and I believe it’s time I do.” Adding, “Ever since I established my own production house, I have provided employment to many and provided education to late artistes’ children. I shall continue to do this. It is important to understand the MAA presidency is not a crown, it’s a responsibility.”
He went on to elaborate why he thought Vishnu Manchu would be perfect for the post. “Vishnu has inherited my traits of commitment and discipline. He is going to stay in town and solve all your problems. He is accessible to anyone and will stand by you when you face a crisis. I urge you all to vote for him,” he wrote. Vishnu will face-off Prakash Raj in the upcoming MAA elections.
