Kochi: A six-member delegation headed by Kitex group chairman will be visiting Telangana on Friday as invited by Telangana government to discuss the Rs 3500 crore worth business project which they withdrew in Kerala.
“We had held talks with the Telangana industries minister T Rama Rao and they showed interest. A special representative of Telangana government will arrive here in a special jet on Friday and the team is going there to discuss the matter in detail, Kitex group chairman Sabu Jacob said on Thursday.
Sabu said after he declared about the withdrawal of the project in Kerala, nine states contacted him for investing in their projects and put forward attractive offers.
Meanwhile, Sabu said he stands firm on his previous statement that Kerala is not industry-friendly state and that no change has occurred within two days.
