Kerry Washington, Oprah Winfrey To Star In Tyler Perry’s ‘Six Triple Eight’

Filmmaker Tyler Perry’s upcoming OTT film ‘Six Triple Eight’ has coated up an all-megastar forged, led by Kerry Washington and Oprah Winfrey.

Washington will also govt produce the movie, which tells the inspiring true tale of the only all-Black, all-female World War II battalion, reviews source.

Starring alongside Washington and Winfrey is an excellent ensemble cast, inclusive of Ebony Obsidian, Milauna Jackson, Kylie Jefferson, Shanice Shantay, Sarah Jeffery, Pepi Sonuga, Jay Reeves, Jeante Godlock, Moriah Brown, Baadja-Lyne Odums, and Gregg Sulkin, at the side of Dean Norris, Sam Waterston, and Susan Sarandon.

In addition to directing and generating the movie, Perry also wrote the screenplay, based totally on a piece of writing by Kevin M. Hymel about the 6888th Postal Directory Battalion, made of 855 Black women.
