Jr NTR on Tuesday, January 18, shared a heartfelt message for his grandfather, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, on his twenty-sixth death anniversary. The legendary actor breathed his last on January 18, 1996, following a heart attack.
Jr NTR took to Twitter to pen a note in Telugu for him on the occasion.
Nandamuri Kalyanram, the brother of Jr NTR fondly remembered his grandfather Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao on his 26th death anniversary.
Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao had a massive contribution to the world of Indian Cinema. Throughout his long acting career, the legendary actor Kapoor has worked in many Telugu films a total of 300 films, and also produced and directed his own films. For his brilliant onscreen performances, Sr NTR has won many awards including, three National Film Awards, two Rashtrapai Awards, one Nandi Award and one Filmfare Award. He was also the recipient of the Padma Shri Award in 2068 and the Honorary Doctorate from Andhra University in 1978.
On the work front, Jr NTR is awaiting the release of his upcoming period action drama, RRR. The film was supposed to release in theatres on January 7, 2022, but it was delayed because of the coronavirus. The new release date has not been revealed yet. Also starring Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt, RRR is directed by SS Rajamouli and produced by DVV Entertainments.
