Mohanlal starrer ‘12th Man’ is one of the most awaited films of the year helmed by the renowned director Jeethu Joseph. Recently the ‘Drishyam’ director announced via his official Instagram handle that the post-production work of the film is completed and is all set to release soon.
Jeethu Joseph took to his official social media handles and shared a picture from the post-production studio with the entire crew of his third outing with Mohanlal and penned a note that read, “12th man post work completed. All set to roll.”
The tag line of ‘12th man’ reads, “Unveiling the shadows.” which posits that the film falls under the category of mystery drama which is a genre that the director Jeethu Joseph is exceptional at handling.
According to the sources, the story of ‘12th Man’ has an Agatha Christie vibe to it that sees the get-together of 11 friends and a mysterious 12th person who joins them. The story also sees a snow-ball of mysterious events that happens within a span of 24 hours. The reports also suggest that Mohanlal will be essaying the mysterious role of the 12th man among the gang.
Apart from Mohanlal, ‘12th Man’ also features the actors Unni Mukundan, Anusree, Saiju Kurup, Sshivada, Leona Lishoy, Aditi Ravi, Anu Sithara, and Priyanka Nair.
Meanwhile, Jeethu Joseph has two more highly ambitious projects in the pipeline such as ‘Ram’, and ‘Kooman’ starring the actors Mohanlal and Asif Ali respectively. ‘Kooman’ will see Asif Ali in a cop role and it will mark his debut team up with the ace director.
