IOC to automate all fuel pumps in Delhi, Haryana to ensure transparency

Karnal: A public sector oil company, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), will introduce total automation at all its petrol pumps in Delhi and Haryana soon to ensure complete transparency in refuelling operations and provide the highest standards in quality and quantity to customers.

‘Consumers will enormously be benefited with the introduction of hundred per cent automation at its petrol pumps. At present more than 30,000 Indian Oil petrol pumps are automated in the country. A customer at the oil pump gets drive in experience with automatic e-receipts, automated loyalty points and automate payments at any automated Indian Oil fuel pump ,’ said Mr Sanjay Sinha, Chief General Manager, Delhi and Haryana state office, IOC while launching the app-based doorstep diesel delivery service in 20 Liters ‘Safar20’.

‘The 20 liters ‘safar20’ jerry can diesel at doorstep service starting with a start-up Humsafar India will benefit small housing societies, malls, hospitals, banks, construction sites, farmers, malls, mobile towers, education institutes along with small industries. The service aims to ensure fuel directly to end-users and also avoid unnecessary fuel spillage, unsafe handling, pilferages and adulteration.
