‘Ikk’ – an upcoming psychological fantasy Tamil movie directed by Babu Tamizh is all set to be released on December 10 in theatres. The film featuring Yogesh Yogie and Guru Somasundaram as lead characters also has YG Mahendran playing a crucial role.
The movie is about a football player who delves into physiological fantasy and a turn of interesting events happen in his life. Though the Tamil industry has had psychological thriller releases, ‘Ikk’ is one such movie that has its primary focus on psychological elements.
The movie’s first look motion poster has been released today. In the video, YG Mahendran is seen explaining to Yogesh the physiological elements he is facing.
Written and directed by Babu Thamizh, audiences have high expectations with this movie as he also directed the Tamil movie Jiivi – which received well-acclaimed praises. The movie is produced under the banner of Dharmaj Films’.
The film revolves around Yogesh’s character, who is a promising football player. He gets seriously injured during a game and tries to analyse the events that led him to that situation. With various turns and strange events happening around him, with the help of psychologists he is informed that he can identify the reasons for his problem and manage to overcome that. Reportedly, the movie has been picturised in a way to entertain and engage the audience as a psychological fantasy thriller.
