Himachal CM: Centre Taking Strict Action Against Terrorism In Valley

Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh) [India]: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur on Friday censured the designated killings in Jammu and Kashmir (J-K) and said that the Central government is making a severe move against psychological warfare in the valley.

Thakur considered the severe killings sad and said that these were endeavors to make alarm in the Valley. “They killed head of Doordarshan, they killed our party leader Tika Lal Taplu. They designated a few group and killed them. Presently the psychological oppressors feel that a specific local area might return so they are again focusing on them. The Central government is making a severe move against psychological oppression in the Kashmir Valley,” said Thakur.

“It’s actual sad; we last saw targetted killings (in J-K) in 1989-1990. An air of frenzy was endeavored to be made for a specific local area to leave,” he added.

His comments came right after the new designated killings in the Valley.

Two regular people – including Kashmiri Pandit representative Rahul Bhat and three off the clock cops were killed in Kashmir by the psychological militants recently.

Thsee passings follow a progression of killings that have been occurring since August 5, 2019, the day when the Union government stripped Jammu and Kashmir of its extraordinary status and downsized it to Union domain while at the same time bifurcating the district into Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh UTs.
