Los Angeles [US]: Actor Freddie Prinze Jr did not hold back to share frustrations in his profession.
The 46-year-old actor played ‘Fred’ in the 2002 stay-movement movie ‘Scooby-Doo’, which was primarily based on the eponymous lively collection. However, when he again for the 2004 sequel of the film, he went through some unsightly conditions, as consistent with a file in The Hollywood Reporter, an American internet site, and digital and print mag.
“My ego was so irritated,” Freddie said, as he allegedly mentioned his income being leaked to a magazine by film studio Warner Bros.
According to the report, he also stated being requested to take a pay cut for the last solid to get a raise
“I remember thinking, ‘Hold up, who is giving them the raise? Me or y’all?’ Like we made you guys 3-quarters of 1000000000 dollars, you cannot come up with the money to pay them what I’m making in this? Screw that,” the ‘FRIENDS’ actor stated.
As in keeping with The Hollywood Reporter, the cast of the movie consisted of actors Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard, and Linda Cardellini.
However, the actor did admit to having a ‘greater correct perspective’ on the two movies upon getting remarks from fans.
“All these human beings that had grown up loving those [Scooby-Doo] movies started accomplishing out…After which I was given what I felt become a more correct perspective on what that film meant to human beings because I become no longer viewing it thru the lenses of the studio,” Freddie said.
Freddie finally appeared in a cameo role in the movie Clerks III’.
He is set to appear as Latino father in the Christmas rom-com ‘Christmas With You’.
