Drugstore Mascaras Better Than High-End Counterparts

When it comes to cheap thrills, few things leave a beauty lover more elated than having the best drugstore mascara in tow; a tried-and-true tube that curls, volumizes, defines, and comes with a price tag that encourages you to layer it on liberally.

Here are some of the best drugstore mascara formulas to look for:-

Maybelline New York Volum Express Hyper Curl Mascara

This is by far my best drugstore alternative to all the high-end counterparts I have tried. The curl and length it gives is impressive, especially for the price you pay for it. The fact that it’s affordable, it’s great for everyday wear. I prefer it’s washable variant because I find it easier to work with.

Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara

This has been a surprising find for me! It fans out lashes without clumping, doesn’t smudge or gets runny even though it’s not waterproof. The only drawback is that you have to be lucky enough to find it at a drugstore or online because it’s mostly out of stock. All the best for your hunt!

Lakme Eyeconic Curling Mascara

The whole Eyeconic range by Lakme is worth the hype. Its Kohl pencil and eyeliner are my go-to products but I tried the mascara recently. This is perhaps the best high-quality yet affordable product that curls lashes without the help of a lash curler. And if you are a fan of some added drama, it’s also available in royal blue shade.

Revlon Water Tight Mascara

If you have sensitive eyes or wear lenses, you can totally depend on this mascara. It’s smudge- and tear-proof and fans out lashes beautifully. If you are looking for a barely-there, not so pushed or dramatic lashes, this one could be an ideal pick. It has a gentle formula and is easy to remove.
