Director R. Ravikumar Clarifies On The Recent Controversy: ‘I Never Met Seeman & Talked To Him’

Director R. Ravikumar is currently working on ‘Ayalaan’ starring Sivakarthikeyan, and the film’s post-production work is heading steadily. The director Ravikumar has now issued a statement clarifying the accusation against him, that he ill-behaved with filmmaker and politician Seeman. A video-sharing channel had recently accused that Ravikumar has behaved negligently when filmmaker and politician Seeman spoke with him. Clearing the air director Ravikumar wrote, “I never met Seeman and talked to him. I don’t even know if he knows me or not. But I could not accept the spread of slander that I had acted negligently when he spoke to me. I am not one to be indifferent to anyone. To say that you witnessed an incident that did not happen is a huge slander. I urge you not to spread false news to thousands of people.”

On the work front, ‘Ayalaan’ post-production work has been underway for a long time, and it is expected to take a few more months as it involves massive graphical works. The science-fiction drama is expected to be Sivakarthikeyan’s next release after ‘Don’, and the makers are reportedly aiming to hit the big screens this September.
