Dhanush is currently busy with the shooting of his brother Selvaraghavan’s Naane Varuven. The two took some time off their busy schedules and spent a day with their parents. Director Selvaraghavan took to Instagram to share a family picture. In the now-viral photo, Dhanush can be seen standing next to his parents with his hands folded. This photo comes months after Dhanush and his ex-wife Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth parted ways.
Dhanush was last seen in director Karthick Naren’s Maaran, which premiered on Disney+ Hotstar in March. The film received negative reviews from fans and critics. After Maaran, Dhanush has been shooting for his brother Selvaraghavan’s Naane Varuven.
On March 31, director Selvaraghavan took to Instagram to share a precious family photo with Dhanush and their parents. It looks like the two brothers spent quality time with their dad, Kasthuri Raja, and mom Vijayalakshmi. He captioned the photo, “#withparents @dhanushkraja @gitanjaliselvaraghavan (sic).”
On January 17, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth announced their separation. The two were married for 18 years and they decided to part ways due to irreconcilable differences. Dhanush and Aishwaryaa are parents to two sons, Yatra and Linga.
Recently, Aishwaryaa dropped Dhanush’s name from her social media handles. It is not clear if the two have filed for divorce or not.
