Chennai [Tamil Nadu]: The state of Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram, who was hospitalized here with chest uneasiness is currently steady and expected to be released soon, specialists at the emergency clinic said on Saturday.
Vikram’s child, Dhruv Vikram, also took to social media to dismiss rumours that the actor had suffered a heart attack. Vikram who was supposed go to the teaser launch off of his impending movie, Ponniyin Selvan, coordinated by Mani Ratnam on Friday night, was raced to the medical clinic in Chennai on Thursday after he grumbled of chest distress.
The Kauvery Hospital in its clinical notice endorsed by Aravindan Selvaraj, medical clinic prime supporter and chief said: “Entertainer Vikram got conceded with protests of chest uneasiness. He was assessed and treated by our expert specialists. He didn’t have heart failure, is at present stable and will be released from emergency clinic soon”
Taking to his virtual entertainment handle, Vikram’s child Dhruv Vikram shared a note on his Instagram story to console fans and invalidate tales via web-based entertainment about the entertainer’s wellbeing.
He wrote, “Dear fans and well-wishers, Appa had mild chest discomfort and is being treated for the same. He did not have a heart attack as reports falsely claim. We are pained to hear rumours to this effect.”
Dhruv added, “That being said, we request you to give our family the privacy we need at this time. Our Chiyaan is fine now. He is likely to be discharged from the hospital in a day. We hope this statement provides clarity and trust that the false rumours will be put to rest.”
In the interim, on the work front, Chiyaan Vikram anticipates the arrival of his impending movie ‘Cobra’ which has been helmed by chief Ajay Gnanamuthu.
