Chiranjeet Chakraborty and Kamaleswar Mukherjee are teaming up for an upcoming psychological thriller ‘Mrityur Rong Dhushor’ which will be directed by young filmmaker Vikram Aditya Arjun. Besides the two senior actors, the film also has a bunch of young talented actors including Ranojoy Bishnu, Oindrila Bosu, Kinjal Nanda, Soumita among others.
The story starts with a series of murders as the mystery intensified after some young girls and boys get killed. However, the local police fail to solve the mystery and a special investigation team from Lalbazar takes over the case to find the killer. But, these special investigation officers, too, are clueless about the murders. Soon it’s revealed that a psycho killer is behind all these. Will the police be able to catch the killer? What’s the killer’s motive? All these questions will be answered in the gripping murder mystery.
The thriller will be shot in and around Kolkata from November 21 while the makers are eyeing a next year release for the film. Chiranjeet will be seen as the man leading the special investigation team from Lalbazar.
“In this thriller I play the chief of crime department of Lalbazar. I get so many offers these days but I have always accepted roles that are part of a good script. The moment I saw the script I was really impressed. The story is quite smart and that’s why I said yes. I am not doing any other film or web series right now to focus on this particular character,” Chiranjeet shared.
There are three songs in ‘Mrityur Rong Dhushor’ and the music is by Loy-Deep. Two songs sung by Rupam Islam and Dev Arijit have already been recorded.
