Popular Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor made his entry into Tamil with Ajith starrer ‘Nerkonda Parvai’, the Tamil remake of the Hindi film ‘Pink’. After receiving great response for his Tamil debut film, the producer reunited with the same actor and director for the second time for ‘Valimai’, which is yet to be released. Now, in a recent interview with the media, Boney Kapoor has confirmed his third collaboration with Ajith and H Vinoth for ‘Thala 61’. Boney Kapoor has been impressed by the fan base of Ajith and is happy with his association with the actor, who never fails to impress the masses.
Moreover, reportedly, Ajith had asked H Vinoth to meet Boney Kapoor at his Mumbai residence four years back, to narrate Kapoor some innovative ideas for his film. Boney Kapoor and Sridevi were awed by his vision. Not only that the late actress interacted with Vinoth in Tamil. Furthermore, Boney Kapoor has also reconfirmed that ‘Valimai’ is releasing for Pongal 2022, and there is no backing off from the date if any other biggie enters the box office race, suggests the report.
‘Thala 61’ is reported to be set in an interesting heist background, and Ajith is expected to be playing a character of negative shade. The official announcement regarding the film will be made at the right time, and the makers plan to release the film during Diwali next year in 2022.
