Banana Pakodas Recipe

Ingredients For Banana Pakoda Recipe:

  • 3 banana
  • 1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 1/4 cup coconut
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cup refined oil
  • 1/2 cup corn flour
  • 2 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 2 egg yolk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence

Method:

  • Step 1 In a deep pan, heat refined oil to deep fry the pakodas. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine chopped bananas, gram flour, corn flour, shredded coconut, sugar and baking powder. Whisk the ingredients until the bananas are coated evenly and, then, add salt followed by egg yolks, milk, and vanilla essence. Mix all these ingredients until you get a batter-like consistency.
  • Step 2 Once done, make small balls and fry the batter into batches until they are golden-brown in color. Remove the pakodas from heat and transfer them onto blotting paper to soak up the excess oil. Serve hot with green chutney or sauce, enjoy!
