Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat-starrer ‘An Action Hero’, which was launched on Friday, has witnessed a gradual beginning.
As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the action film has just minted Rs eighty-one lakh from ‘national chains’ on its starting day.
“#AnActionHero at *national chains*… WEEK 1: Day 1 biz….#PVR: 44 lacs #INOX: 22 lacs #Cinepolis: 15 lacs Total: Rs 81 lacs,” Adarsh wrote in a tweet.
The movie opened to noticeably lower numbers than his preceding mission, “Anek”, which had grossed Rs 2.11 crore on its first day in line with Taran Adarsh.
Helmed by director Anirudh Iyer, the high-octane mystery film stars Ayushmann in the function of an actor, Maanav, who is going to Haryana for an outdoor shoot but receives concerned in an accident that turns his life the wrong way up.
The “Bala” actor shot hardcore movement scenes for this venture for the primary time in his profession.
“It felt like I made my debut within the Hindi movie industry while filming for An Action Hero!” the actor said.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann may also be seen in the comedy movie ‘Dream Girl 2’ alongside Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Vijay Raaz.
