Actor Vishal had wrapped up the shooting for his upcoming film ‘Veeramae Vaagai Soodum’ towards the end of last year. Directed by Thu Pa Saravanan stars Dimple Hayathi as the female lead. The film is about a normal man from a middle-class family questioning the authorities for abusing their powers. While the film was earlier planned to hit the screens on January 26, 2022, the release got postponed due to the COVID-19 situation.
Now, looks like the makers planning to released the film in the month of February if the COVID-19 restrictions and the Sunday lockdown are taken off. ‘Veerame Vaagai Soodum’ will be the first big film to hit the screens after the third wave of the pandemic.
The movie is releasing in two languages as ‘Veerame Vaagai Soodum’ in Tamil and ‘Saamanyudu’ Telugu. The film will also feature Yogi Babu, Marimuthu, Thulasi, Kavitha Bharathi, R.N.R. Manohar, Mariam George, and Maha Gandhi in important roles.
The film, produced by Vishal’s own firm Vishal Film Factory, is the story of a common man taking on those in power. While Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for the film, the technical team includes editing by N.B. Srikanth, cinematography byKavin Raj and art direction by S.S. Moorthy.
