Sparkle said on Instagram, “An author can be called a ‘bonafide bestseller’ when pirated versions of their books start selling at traffic lights.” Taking to her Instagram handle, Twinkle shared the picture with the caption, which read,”Wednesday, the write way. How do you know a book has done well? You could look at sales figures, Amazon rankings, reviews, and awards. The real acid test of being a bonafide bestseller though is when pirated versions of your books are sold at traffic lights. This was one of my happiest moments. Which one have you read?”
Twinkle posted a photograph of a man holding pilfered duplicates of her books Mrs Funnybones, The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad, and Pajamas Are Forgiving.
Twinkle, who made her film debut in 1995 with Barsaat, left the business following a couple of years. She has regularly expressed that she didn’t partake in her time in films.
All things considered, Twinkle quit acting in 2001 in the wake of being featured in a series of movies. She wandered into writing in 2015, delivering her most memorable book ‘Mrs Funnybones’.
She composed another book containing a treasury of stories named ‘The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad’ in 2017 and followed it with one more book named ‘Night robe Are Forgiving’, which came out the next year.
