‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ Season 2 Adds 8 New Actors To Cast

Washington [US]: The impending second season of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ series, presently in production in the UK, has delivered eight new actors to the show’s existing cast.

Oliver Alvin-Wilson, Stuart Bowman, Gavi Singh Chera, William Chubb, Kevin Eldon, Will Keen, Selina Lo, and Calam Lynch are the newly forged contributors. ‘The Rings of Power’ displays the heroic legends of the fabled Second Age of Middle-earth’s history for the first time.

This epic drama is ready hundreds of years before the occasions of J.R.R. Tolkien’s ‘The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings’ books and takes viewers lower back to a generation in which brilliant powers were cast, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to wreck.

Beginning in a time of relative peace, the collection follows an ensemble solid of familiar and new characters as they confront the lengthy-feared re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth.

Season two of the series is produced by showrunners and executive manufacturers J.D. Payne & Patrick McKay.

They are joined via government manufacturers Lindsey Weber, Callum Greene, Justin Doble, Jason Cahill, and Gennifer Hutchison, along with co-govt producer Charlotte Brandstrom, manufacturers Kate Hazell and Helen Shang, and co-producers Andrew Lee, Matthew Penry-Davey, and Clare Buxton.
