Thalapathy Vijay has reportedly paid the entry tax for his luxury car. Actor Vijay imported a luxurious Rolls Royce car from England, and he filed a case in the Chennai High Court in 2012 seeking cancellation of the entry tax due to its high amount. Recently, the case turned into a debate after the judge made a hateful comment against the actor, and imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh. Actor Vijay has filed an appeal against the verdict in the Chennai High Court.
Then an interim injunction for Vijay’s 1 lakh fine was issued by special judges, and they ordered Vijay to pay 80 percent of the tax since he already paid the remaining 20 percent. Again the case came up for hearing yesterday, and the lawyer stated that Vijay has paid the remaining 80 percent tax for his Rolls Royce car. With this hearing, fans are happy to know that their favourite actor has cleared the issue in time.
On the work front, Vijay is currently shooting for ‘Beast’, which is directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar, and the film shooting is underway in Chennai. Next, the team plans to travel to Delhi to shoot some major action sequences, and they finalized the locations to complete a quick trip.
