Jared Leto Wants Warner Bros. To Release The Ayer Cut

Hollywood actor Jared Leto recently said he thinks it’s time that Warner Bros. should release filmmaker David Ayer’s cut of ‘Suicide Squad’. Leto, who played the character of Joker in the 2016 movie, while talking to Variety at the Los Angeles premiere of ‘House of Gucci’ at the Academy Museum said, “Absolutely! Why not? Why wouldn’t they? Why wouldn’t they? I mean, that’s what streaming’s for, right?” Ayer concurred with Leto on Twitter. “Exactly what streaming is for. If you own IP and you have a mandate to monetize it from your shareholders that’s exactly what you do,” he wrote, tagging Warner Bros. parent company AT&T. In July, Ayer had first confirmed the existence of his cut of the film in a statement.
