IRCTC to run ‘Rampath Yatra’ train from Gujarat to Ayodhya on Dec 25

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India]: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will run the ‘Rampath Yatra’ train on December 25 which will start from Gujarat connecting Madhya Pradesh to reach Ayodhya, informed Krishna Kumar Singh, Regional Manager of IRCTC on Tuesday.Addressing a press conference in Indore on Tuesday, Singh said, “The 640-seater train will start from Sabarmati station in Gujarat and reach Ayodhya the next day via Ratlam, Ujjain.” Describing the journey to Ayodhya, the IRCTC Regional Manager said that devotees will be taken by road to Nandigram, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Chitrakoot from December 27.“The journey will take seven nights and eight days in which 320 seats will be in 3AC and 320 seats in sleeper coaches. IRCTC restores catering services in premium trains

New Delhi [India] : In a significant step towards the restoration of passenger services, the Indian Railways now decided to serve freshly cooked food in Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto, Vande Bharat, Tejas, and Gatiman Express trains.In this regard, an order already has been issued to all concerned departments and stakeholders. The order said that the matter has been examined and it has been decided to resume cooked foods in trains.According to this order, Zonal Railways will verify the catering charges to be realized based on services being provided and the applicable rate list and feed the same in the PRS software for enabling booking/opting out of Catering services, from ARP date, at the time of booking of tickets.“Presently, it will be applicable for only Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto, Vande Bharat, Tejas and Gatiman category of trains. New Delhi [India]: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)’s ‘Shri Ramayana Yatra’ train on the Ramayana circuit commenced from Delhi’s Safdarjung railway station on Sunday.Informing about the same, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya took to Twitter and said, “Indian Railways will run Ramayana circuit train from today to visit all the important religious places related to Lord Shri Ram. IRCTC To Start Special Bharat Darshan Tourist Train From October 8

In a bid to promote religious tourism in the country, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is starting a special Bharat Darshan Tourist train on October 8 which will run from Rewa station of Madhya Pradesh to Agra, Mathura, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Amritsar and Vaishno Devi Shrine. According to the IRCTC Public Relations Officer (PRO) Anand Kumar Jha, the main aim to run this train is to give an enhanced experience to explore beautiful historical and devotional places of North India. In view of declining cases of coronavirus across the country, the Indian Railways has decided to operate a special train in September covering several top tourist destinations, including Char Dham–Badrinath, Jagannath Puri, Rameshwaram, and Dwarkadhish. After the great popularity and success of the “Shri Ramayana Yatra” train operated on the Ramayana circuit, IRCTC has now launched another very popular pilgrimage circuit “Chardham Yatra” by “Dekho Apna Desh” Deluxe AC Tourist Train.
