Time and again it has been proven how there is no dream impossible if one is hard working and dedicated. A son of a daily wage earner’s son named Dudhuram proved that after clearing the test this year.
Dudharam who is a resident of Kamthai village of Sindhari tehsil in Barmer, Rajasthan will now become a primary physician from his village after scoring 626 marks out of 720 within the NEET UG 2021 examination.
Now, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is an exam that makes you eligible to become a doctor. So, obviously, it is one of the most difficult exams to crack after you’re done with your Class 12th boards. While many students take coaching for years for such exams, Dudhuram had to face hardships because he has a weak financial background.
According to sources, Dudhuram’s family consists of five members and there is no steady source of income. His father and brother are daily wage workers in construction areas and they own 10 to 12 bighas of land, which can only be used to grow millets, just enough to feed the family.
He talked about his hardships and said, “I was determined to become doctor, and for me, nothing less than MBBS was acceptable. I made the first attempt in 2018, doing self-study, and secured 440 marks. The second attempt was in 2019 again by self-study. That year, I got 558 marks. Then I decided to come to Kota to prepare for the third attempt and took admission in Allen Career Institute; then, I got All India Rank 23082 with 593 marks in NEET 2020.”
Apparently, Dudhuram’s village also lacks a steady water and electricity supply. His family members are illiterate so they couldn’t find ways and means to get him to study and help him with his education.
This is truly an inspiration.
