Silambarasan AKA Simbu is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming film, Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu. Now, rumours are rife that he has been roped in to host Bigg Boss Ultimate. Earlier, Kamal Haasan was hosting the reality show. But, he had to opt out of Bigg Boss Ultimate to wrap up the shooting of his forthcoming film, Vikram. In his note, Ulaganayagan wrote that the Covid-19 pandemic forced him to rearrange his schedule.
Kamal Haasan announced that he had to opt out of Bigg Boss due to work commitments. However, the actor promised that he will be back as the show’s host for the sixth season. Now, people are curious to know who will replace Kamal Haasan as the host of Bigg Boss Ultimate.
During the fifth season of Bigg Boss Tamil, Kamal Haasan had tested positive for Covid-19. The actor took the help of his friend and actress Ramya Krishnan, who stepped up as the guest host of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5. She hosted the show for a week.
However, it is unclear if Ramya will host Bigg Boss Ultimate. Vanitha Vijayakumar is one of the contestants on Bigg Boss Ultimate. Ramya Krishnan and Vanitha have a past and got into an argument when they were a part of Bigg Boss Jodigal. After the argument, Vanitha walked out of Bigg Boss Jodigal.
The curiosity regarding the new host of Bigg Boss Ultimate is at an all-time high.
Word has it that Simbu is in talks to anchor the show. However, an official confirmation from the television channel is still awaited. Sarathkumar and Ramya Krishnan are some of the names which are in consideration to host the OTT version of the show.
Soon, the organisers will introduce the new host of Bigg Boss Ultimate.
