Mansa (Punjab) [India] : Punjab police on Wednesday got 7 days remand of hoodlum Lawrence Bishnoi who was delivered before Chief Judicial Magistrate in Mansa court regarding Sidhu Moose Wala murder case.
Bishnoi was on Wednesday introduced before Chief Judicial Magistrate in Mansa court by Punjab Police regarding the Punjabi vocalist’s homicide case. The hoodlum was taken to Punjab after Delhi’s Patiala House Court on Tuesday permitted Punjab Police to capture criminal Lawrence Bishnoi regarding vocalist Sidhu Moose Wala’s homicide and furthermore permitted Punjab Police’s travel application.
Advocate Vishal Chopra showing up for Lawrence Bishnoi went against the Punjab Police application and expressed that there is a security danger. There is trepidation that Lawrence Bishnoi may be “eliminated” if transit remand is granted.
Bishnoi’s lawyer submitted that we are not opposing virtual interrogation and investigation. “We are just opposing his physical transit remand to Punjab. Punjab Police can arrest him in the case, if needed, but in Delhi only,” he added.
Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified aggressors in Jawaharke town of Punjab’s Mansa locale on May 29.
The episode occurred a day after his security was removed by the Punjab police among 424 others.
Quite, the artist had joined the Congress party last year in December in front of the Assembly races.
