Actress Shruti Haasan who played the role of Malar teacher in the Telugu remake of the film ‘Premam’ in 2016, was trolled by the netizens back then. Shruti Haasan is now one of the leading actresses in the Tamil and Telugu industry. In a recent interview with a media house Shruti Haasan spoke about her choice of playing the role in Premam. She said that it was the only time she was trolled online.
The actress reportedly added that she felt that for a while she thought that she should not have done the role. She also added that the thought was there just for a second and that she made up her mind to do it as she decided to do it as it was something she liked. Shruti reportedly added that she had a nice time while playing the role and though she was trolled, the movie ran successfully in the theatres.
Shruti in the interview reportedly added that she learnt a valuable lesson while playing the role of Malar in ‘Premam’. She said that no one should ever compare themselves to another person. The actress is now having the time of her life with her boyfriend and she is quite active on social media.
