Shah Rukh Khan gets relief from High Court in 2017 case

New Delhi [India]- The Supreme Court on Monday approved alleviation to Shah Rukh Khan as it promoted Gujarat High Court which subdued the instance against him related to the 2017 stampede in Vadodara Train Terminal.

A bench of Justice Ajay Rastogi and also Justice CT Ravikumar rejected the plea filed by a complainant versus Shahrukh Khan.
The complainant had actually challenged a Gujarat High Court order. The High court refused to hinder the order gone by the High Court of Gujarat subduing the complaint filed by the plaintiff versus the actor.

On April 27, 2022, Gujarat High Court got quashing the criminal situation against Shah Rukh Khan for presumably creating a charge at Vadodara Train Station while promoting his film Raees in 2017. The star along with his production group was taking a trip from Mumbai to Delhi to promote their Hindi feature film ‘Raees’.

The complainant, Jitendra Madhubhai Solanki had filed an exclusive grievance versus Khan prior to the Judicial Magistrate, Fabulous, Vadodara, declaring his existence at the Vadodara Train Station paired with him throwing Tees as well as rounds at the group constructed at the station caused the claimed charge.

On an application preferred by Shah Rukh Khan looking for a quashing of the said grievance, the High Court of Gujarat needed to vide order dated April 27, 2022 subdued the issue filed against Khan.

The Petitioner was represented by Elderly advocate Vijay Kumar while Shah Rukh Khan was represented by Senior supporter Siddharth Luthra, briefed by a group from Karanjawala and also Company Advocates led by Ruby Singh Ahuja and also Sandeep Kapur, Senior Citizen Partners.
