The producers of Gopichand’s much-anticipated film ‘Seetimaarr’ took to Twitter to reveal that the censor formalities have been completed and that the film has been censored with a U/A certificate.
The makers tweeted, ”With UA certificate from Censor, #???????????????????????????????????? is all set for a grand release in a theatre near you from September 10th, with a run time of 138 mins. Fasten your seat belt for an adrenaline-pumping show. #????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????@YoursGopichand @IamSampathNandi.”
Directed by Sampath Nandi, ‘Seetimaarr’ was supposed to hit the screens on April 2. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the film got postponed. Now, it is slated to release on September 10 to coincide with Ganesh Chaturthi. Apart from Gopichand, the sports action-entertainer features Tamannaah Bhatia, Digangana Suryavanshi, Bhumika Chawla, Rahman, Tarun Arora, Rao Ramesh, Posani Krishna Murali, Tanikella Bharani and Preethi Asrani in prominent roles.
The trailer of the film was released on August 31 and had crushed records and how. It has crossed the milestone of 10 million views. The trailer introduces Gopichand as a women’s kabaddi coach. He would be taking on the antagonist, played by Tarun Arora. The film will have a sports backdrop for most of its story. The technical crew of ‘Seetimaarr’ comprises composer Mani Sharma, cinematographer Soundarrajan and editor Tammiraju. The project marks the second time collaboration of Gopichand and director Sampath Nandi after 2017’s Goutham Nanda.
