Sasikumar’s’ Kombu Vacha Singamda’ directed by SR Prabhakaran is said to hit the screen coming Tamil New Year. The film bankrolled by Inder Kumar of Redhan Cinemas is touted to be a rural drama. Director SR Prabhakaran is reuniting with actor Sasi Kumar after his debut in Sundara Pandian which was released in 2012.
The trailer of the film has been released by director Gautham Menon, Samuthirakani, Lokesh Kanagaraj and actor Arun Vijay. The trailer promises a rural commercial entertainer with family values and violence.
Madonna Sebastian is playing the female lead while the star cast includes Kalaiyarasan, Soori, Yogi Babu, late director Mahendran, Harish Peradi, Thulasi, Sri Priyanka, Deepa Ramanujam among others in supporting roles.
Apart from ‘Kombu Vacha Singamda’, the actor has ‘MGR Magan’ with director Ponram which is also a rural drama. The other set of films in Sasikumar’s lineup includes ‘Pagaivanuku Arulvai’, and ‘Udan Pirappe’ which are in different stages of production. Sasikumar is also awaiting the release of ‘Raajavamsam’, which is scheduled to have its theatrical release on October 1, 2021.
