Alia Bhatt is celebrating her 29th birthday today, March 15. Samantha and Nagarjuna took to social media to wish the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress. Days ahead of her birthday, Alia jetted off to an undisclosed location with her mom, Soni Razdan, and sister, Shaheen. It has been reported that her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor will join Alia and her family to celebrate her birthday.
On her birthday, the makers of Brahmastra released the first-look of Alia Bhatt from the film. The actress essays the role of Isha in the epic period film. Brahmastra is directed by Ayan Mukerji and features Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles.
Samantha took to her Instagram stories to wish Alia a happy birthday. She shared a photo of Alia and wrote, “Happy birthday @aliaabhatt. Is there anything you cannot do? Can’t wait to celebrate all your achievements. We all know you are just getting started (sic).”
Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra co-star Nagarjuna took to Twitter to share her first look and penned a sweet note for her. He wrote, “To the incredible Alia Bhatt on her Birthday! So excited to be sharing your first look with the first ever film visuals of Brahmastra – here’s presenting, Isha! Wishing you Health & Happiness always. Brahmastra Part One: Shiva 09.09.2022 (sic).”
Produced by Karan Johar, Brahmastra has been planned as a three-part fantasy trilogy. The film will release in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam – on September 9. Apart from Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Brahamastra also stars Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy.
