For debutant filmmaker Duniya Vijay, it has been the busiest time. He’s balancing the technical last-minute production work on one side and working out the promotions as the lead actor for ‘Salaga’ on the other. He reveals that there will be a special event ahead of the release.
“We are planning a special pre-release event this Sunday where we plan to showcase the making trailer of the film. We will also be celebrating the success of our promotional song, which featured Geeta and Girija from the Siddhi community,” shares Vijay.
The event will not only have the cast and crew of the film in attendance but will also have some special guests. “We will have politicians Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar attending the event. Siddaramaiah sir was present to sound the clap for the film too, so it is a full circle for us in that sense. Both of these politicians are more of my well-wishers who have supported me through the filming,” adds Vijay.
Apart from them, there will also be another special guest. “Puneeth Rajkumar has been gracious enough to accept our invitation. He also told us that he loved our promotional song in the film and said that he is eager to catch the film. We are looking at humbly thanking everyone who has supported us through the journey and also requesting people to support us the same way when the film releases,” signs off Vijay.
