Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayaas will ensure creation of new India, says PM Modi

New Delhi [India]: As the country celebrates 75 years of Independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayaas will ensure the creation of a new India”.
Addressing the nation on Independence Day from Red Fort in the national capital, the Prime Minister said “‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayaas’ is very important for the achievement of all our goals.” “There comes a time in the development journey of every country, when that country redefines itself, moves forward with new resolutions. Today that time has come in India’s development journey…Starting from here, the journey of the next 25 years is the ‘Amrit’ of the creation of a new India. The fulfillment of our resolves in this ‘Amrit Kaal’ will take us till 100 years of independence,” said the Prime Minister.
“That is why we have to fulfill all our resolutions by doing hard work and culmination of valor. Today I am calling from the Red Fort – Sabka Saath – Sabka Vikas – Sabka Vishwa and Sabka Prayaas, as everyone’s efforts are very important for the achievement of our every goal,” he noted.
He said it is essential to fully utilise the capabilities of India to take it to new heights, in the 21st century. For this, PM Modi said that we have to hold hands of the section that is lagging behind, the area that is lagging behind.
“Besides caring about basic facilities, reservation for Dalits, backwards, tribals, economically weak sections of general category. Recently reservation was granted to OBCs, under the all-India quota, in medical education. States have been granted the right to make their own OBC lists,” he noted.
PM Modi said now, with the efforts of the government, the benefits of many schemes that started in the last 7 years have reached the doorsteps of crores of poor.
“From Ujjwala to Ayushman Bharat, the poor of the nation knows their (schemes’) strength. Today, government schemes have picked up the pace and are reaching their goals. Now we have to move towards saturation. 100 per cent villages have roads, 100 per cent households have a bank account, 100 per cent beneficiaries should have Ayushman Bharat card, 100 per cent eligible persons should have a gas connection under Ujjwala scheme,” he added.

Need to increase collective power of small farmers, make them nation’s pride: PM Modi

As India celebrates the 75th Independence Day on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it is high time when the country needs to apply scientific research and suggestions to the agriculture sector to provide food security to the nation and to increase food production.
The Prime Minister also said that the country must increase the collective power of small farmers and make them the nation’s pride. Addressing the nation from the Red Fort in the national capital, the Prime Minister said: “It is time we apply scientific research and suggestions in our agriculture sector. We need to reap all its benefits. It will not just provide food security to the nation, but will also increase food produce.”
“Over 80 per cent of the farmers in the country owns less than 2 hectare land. Now the decisions are being taken keeping these small farmers in mind. The Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana takes care of the small expenses of the small farmers. More than Rs 1.5 lakh crores have been deposited directly to the bank accounts of over10 crore farmer families so far,” PM Modi said.
“In the coming years, we will have to increase the collective power of the small farmers of the country. We have to give them new facilities. They must become the country’s pride,” he further said.

Political will required to bring in big changes, reforms, says PM Modi

Noting India’s development journey in the past 7 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said political will is required to bring in big changes and reforms.
Addressing from Red Fort on 75th Independence Day, Prime Minister said today, the world can see that there is no dearth of political will in India. “Political will is required to bring in big changes, big reforms. Today, the world can see that there is no dearth of political will in India. Good and smart governance is needed to bring reforms. The world is a witness to how India is writing a new chapter of governance,” noted PM Modi.
He said the government’s priority will be to ensure that all services reach the last person seamlessly.
“For the all-round development of the nation, it is essential to end the unnecessary interference of government and government procedures in the lives of people,” he stated.
PM Modi noted that earlier, the government was sitting in the driver’s seat. “Maybe it was needed at that time. But the time has changed now. Efforts have increased in the last seven years to free the people from the web of unnecessary laws and procedures. Several unnecessary laws have been scrapped so far,” he said.
Talking about the development journey of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh after the abrogation of Article 370, the Prime Minister said, “The balance of development is now visible on the ground in Jammu or Kashmir. Delimitation Commission has been constituted in Jammu and Kashmir and preparations are on for Assembly elections in the future.”
“On the one hand, Ladakh is witnessing the creation of modern infrastructure, while on the other hand, Indus Central University will make Ladakh a centre of higher education,” he added.
