Director S Narayan, who has wrapped up shooting for the suspense thriller movie 5D, will be collaborating with former chief minister and producer H D Kumarswamy, for a new project which will be based on the novel Hejje, written by Vyasaraya Ballal.

It is reported that the movie dates back to the pre-independence era since the subjects holds relevance even today. S Narayan has done a recce to do the movie on a large scale. He is also looking for suitable actors to play prominent roles. He already had a couple of rounds of discussion with Kumrawamy to begin the shoot by early next year. The movie also marks H D Kumaraswamy’s return to films, after almost four years. He had last produced his son Nikhil’s movie Jaguar. Previously, Kumaraswamy has produced hit movies like Suryavamsha, Chandara Chakori, Premathosava and Galate Aliyandru. Suryavamsha and Chandra Chakori were directed by S Narayan.
Meanwhile, S Narayan has also launched auditions to direct a romantic movie. On the small screen, he is seen in the serial Paaru in the role of former military officer Ranakal Veerayya Deva.
