Mumbai, Aug 18: The Rupee on Wednesday gained by seven paise at 74.28 against the US Dollar in the opening session on the selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit was seen strong on the weak dollar against other world currencies amid a strong opening in the stock market.
The Rupee registered days high and low at 74. 33 and 74.26 respectively.
