Richa Chadha’s ‘Galwan Says Hi’ Tweet Sparks Row

New Delhi [India]: Bollywood actor Richa Chadha has come under fire for posting a tweet at the 2020 Galwan conflict, wherein several Indian Army infantrymen died.

On Wednesday, Richa had reacted to Northern Army Commander Lt General Upendra Dwivedi’s declaration that the Indian Army is prepared to execute orders like taking back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Sharing a post at the assertion, Richa took to her Twitter and wrote, “Galwan says hi.”

As quickly as she tweeted this, all hell broke free on social media, and those started to slam her for allegedly insulting the military by speaking approximately the 2020 conflict between India and China.

One person wrote, “Mocking the sacrifice of our infantrymen at Galwan valley. Shameful & disgraceful.”

Meanwhile, Lt General Upendra Dwivedi’s declaration was almost about Defence Minister’s preceding address wherein he reiterated New Delhi’s clear-up to retake Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), pronouncing all refugees would get their land and homes again.

Lt General Upendra Dwivedi stated, “As far as the Indian Army is concerned, it will perform any order given by the Government of India. Whenever such orders are given, we can continually be equipped for it.”

“The military is constantly ready to make sure that ceasefire understanding is in no way damaged as it’s miles within the interest of each country, but if damaged at any time, we will give them a befitting reply,” stated Dwivedi, Northern Army Commander at the ceasefire settlement among India and Pakistan.
