Ranveer Singh’s ‘Cirkus’ Starts Off On A Disastrous Note

Well, what seems like it, 2022 hasn’t been a tremendous year for Ranveer Singh in films in any respect. The actor, who first tasted a loss with YRF’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar, was in a double role in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus.

While the target audience had excessive hopes, unanimous verdicts advocate that the film faces a power outage. Well, Day 1 box office collections are out, and it may not be incorrect to mention that Cirkus couldn’t emerge as the film that saved Bollywood.

Ranveer Singh-starrer and Rohit Shetty-directorial Cirkus did not receive tremendous opinions on its starting day. Despite releasing on the holiday season, the film did not turn out to be the town’s communication for the proper motives. Well, Day 1 numbers of Cirkus are here, and it might not be wrong to mention that the film did not start on super notice.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that Cirkus controlled to earn Rs 3.16 crore inside the country-wide chain. This is a rather terrible quantity for a vacation release.

Produced and directed by Rohit Shetty, Cirkus is supplied by Gulshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, and T-Series.  It features Ranveer Singh in a double role. The movie also stars Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Murli Sharma, Sulbha Arya, and Vrajesh Hirjee, amongst others. It also features Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn in special appearances. Cirkus is primarily based on the 1982 Hindi film Angoor, a remake of the 1968 Hindi movie Do Dooni Chaar. The latter was a model of the 1963 Bengali movie Bhranti Bilas. Cirkus launched on December 23, 2022.
