Ram Charan and Jr NTR are two of the most popular superstars in the Telugu film industry. The two are considered rivals, but they came together to play lead roles in director SS Rajamouli’s RRR. Since then, they have been setting bromance goals for their fans. While promoting RRR on a chat show, Ram Charan revealed why he and Jr NTR haven’t done a film before RRR.
Director SS Rajamouli’s RRR was supposed to release in theatres on January 7, 2022. Ahead of the film’s release, Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Jr NTR went to different cities to promote the film in different languages.
Recently, the trio appeared on Kapil Sharma’s chat show. The host asked Charan and Jr NTR why they never acted in a film together before RRR. Kapil then asked whether producers never approached them or if they did not have the budget to cast the two together. Ram Charan laughed out loud and said, “Second answer is right.”
As reported earlier, RRR has now been postponed due to a surge in Covid-19 cases. In a statement, the makers of RRR stated that they are forced to postpone the film’s release. RRR is a fictional tale based on the lives of freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
RRR features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles, while Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, Olivia Morris, Shriya Saran and Samuthirakani play supporting roles.
