Mumbai (Maharashtra)[India]: Actor Rakul Preet Singh’s ‘Chhatriwali’ will be launched on OTT rather than hitting the theatres.
Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and directed via Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, ‘Chhatriwali’ might be out on ZEE5 early next year, as in step with the announcement made through the makers on World Aids Day. ‘Chhatriwali’ aims to force domestic a robust social message on the significance of male contraceptives and secure intercourse.
A slice-of-existence movie set in Haryana, ‘Chhatriwali’ is headlined by Rakul, who performs the satisfactory manipulation head in a condom manufacturing facility.
Though she is shy and embarrassed about her job, she soon realizes the importance of safe sex and then takes it upon herself to destigmatise the conversation around intercourse training.
