Tollywood actress Priyanka Jawalkar has tested positive for Covid-19. The actress took to social media to share the news, revealing that she is showing symptoms.
While she did not go into detail about them, she wrote, “Hey everyone, despite taking all precauations, I tested positive for COVID with symptoms. I’m currently in isolation following my doctor’s instructions and I also started taking the required medication. (sic)” She also urged everyone to stay home, stay safe and wear a mask to step out for essentials, “I urge everyone who met me in the last few days to get themselves tested. I also request everyone to mask up and not head out unless absolutely necessary. Stay Safe! (sic)” Further details are awaited.
Priyanka Jawalkar hails from a Marathi-speaking family from Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The computer science and fashion design graduate made her debut in Tollywood with the 2018 film Taxiwaala, co-starring Vijay Deverakonda. After that there was a break before her three releases in 2021 with Thimmarusu, SR Kalyanamandapam and Gamanam. Thimmarusu starred Satya Dev as her co-star while SR starred Kiran Abbavaram. Gamanam was an anthology that saw Raj Kandukuri as her co-star. All her films have been received well. It remains to be seen what else the actress has said yes to.
